Founded by young science enthusiasts working primarily in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) across France, Canada, South Africa, and Congo, LE YAYA is a nonprofit organization driven by a single ideal: to support young people seeking quality education but lacking the resources to achieve it. Through various initiatives, LE YAYA aims to empower and inspire the next generation, especially girls, by providing educational opportunities, promoting STEM careers, and helping break down social and economic barriers to knowledge and academic success.

Goals of the LE YAYA Association

  • Promote the values of excellence in science by encouraging high standards and a passion for learning.
  • Encourage girls’ participation in mathematics and science to help bridge gender gaps in STEM fields.
  • Raise awareness within the educational community about gender equality, fostering a supportive environment for all students.
  • Provide assistance to Congolese students excelling in science who face material or emotional challenges, ensuring they have the resources to succeed.
  • Embody and promote core values: Discipline, Ambition, and Achievement.
Through these objectives, LE YAYA works to build a future where talented youth, regardless of gender or financial background, can thrive in science and contribute to a brighter, more inclusive future.
